Carl Froch knocks out Jermain Taylor Video Clips. Duration : 2.77 Mins.

Carl "The Cobra" Froch stops Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor via a TKO in the final round to retain his WBC super middleweight title. ---------- Carl Froch was a little-known WBC super middleweight champion from Nottingham, England, when he signed to fight Jermain Taylor, the former undisputed middleweight champion. But Froch made a name for himself with a stunning victory Saturday night, that coming on a TKO at 2:46 of the 12th round at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods. After taking a pounding for nearly the entire fight, Froch (25-0, 20 KOs) came out firing in the final round and stunned Taylor with two rights followed by a left uppercut that put Taylor on the deck. Taylor (28-3-1, 17 KOs) stayed down and was nearly counted out before climbing to his feet. Froch jumped on Taylor, who was still groggy from the knockdown, and started pummeling him again. Taylor took a couple of hard shots before referee Michael Ortega stopped it. "The last round I was hoping that my intuition was right that Jermain Taylor was tired," Froch said. "(Robert) McCracken (the trainer) told me I had to have a big 12th round. And you saw it and I got it. He was badly hurt and not defending himself. He wasn't even looking at me. It was a great decision by the referee." Taylor, 30, who won the undisputed middleweight title against Bernard Hopkins in 2005 and lost it on a KO to Kelly Pavlik last year, was trying to climb back into the championship ranks. This was just his second fight at super middleweight ...
